About Tenchi

Tenchi (天地) means heaven and earth. The name fits a needle: it connects the two.

Most needle suppliers charge more as the gauge gets finer. Clinics end up choosing diameters by price, and the tray fills with whatever was cheapest that month. We thought that was backwards. So every Tenchi gauge, from 0.16 mm to 0.30 mm, costs the same $7.99 for 100 needles. You choose by feel. The price doesn't change.

Our needles are made for us by an FDA-registered manufacturer and sold under the Tenchi name. Each one is sterile, single use, individually sealed with ethylene-oxide sterilization, and paired with its own guide tube. The boxes are color coded by gauge, so you can restock from across the room.

Tenchi was started by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) who teaches acupuncture courses and grew tired of poorly made, cheap needles. The business is based in Ontario, California.
